Using Search on Windows Phone

Windows Phone devices has a handy search button that brings to Bing search, where you can insert your desired queries to the search engine. On top of that, the search function extends on recognizing text in an image, QR codes and Microsoft Tags. Here\'s how. To scan a text: 1. Hit the Search key 2. Touch at the “eye” icon 3. Point your device’s camera towards the text you wish to scan 4. Tap on “scan text” 5. Recognized text are framed in a white box 6. Tap any of the white boxes and text will be inserted into a textbox immediately 7. You can modify the inserted text or simply hit enter to start searching Alternatively, you can translate the scanned text: 1. From Step 5, tap on “translate” 2. Select your desired language 3. Viol The original text will be replaced to the language you’ve chosen earlier Note: You can tap on any of the translated text to check back the original language. Tips: You can pinch to enlarge the text. To scan QR Code or Microsoft Tag: 1. After Step 2, simply aim your camera to any QR code or Microsoft Tag 2. Relevant information will be immediately shown
